What’s on: weekly summary, photos and official notices

From the Communication team, we create an internal wall with the photos and activities carried out, along with reminders, deadlines, notices and news of interest, which is always convenient to consult, as they have the same official character as the rest of the communications received through Phidias.

The password is changed every week and is provided together with the mail we usually send out on Friday afternoons.

Reminders we usually do:

At the top, you will find the next important dates, the application forms for the paediatrician, renewal or application for a place, registration links for extracurricular activities and speech therapy…

In the right hand column, we will highlight logistical aspects, e.g. summer timetable, deadlines for applying for grants, costumes for special days…

In the central part there will be a summary by age and access to the photos of the week.

Occasionally, we will highlight family plans and activities in Madrid, suggestions for books or resources and recordings of the presentations that the schools make to Alaria parents so that they can get to know them and ask questions.

Official communications: Phidias / email

We provide you with an intranet service (Phidias) as a means of official communication, always reinforced with an email notification. Please stay tuned.

See you on the networks…

We recommend that you follow us on Instagram and Facebook as well as on Twitter and Linkedin. We also invite you to read articles about classroom experiences and news on our blog and website.

For anything you need from the Communication team, please write to hola@alariaescuelasinfantiles.es and I will be happy to help you.

Monthly schedule

At the beginning of each month, you will receive a calendar with the monthly schedule of activities for your child’s class, through the Phidias bulletin board.

This will be the first thing you see when you log in to your profile.

In addition, we will highlight important days such as celebrations when parents can bring their children in costume or must bring specific material for an activity.

It is important to review it, in order to foresee logistical issues such as materials, authorisations, outings, family visits to the children’s classrooms…

Here you can see, for example, the days when you can come to class to talk about your profession, the days when grandparents can come to share an activity, the days for excursions to the museum, the date of the Christmas or Summer performance, the celebration of the crazy days during Carnival week…

We try to offer several channels of information, but it is necessary that the responsibility to be informed comes from the interest of the parents themselves, who select the most appropriate and official means (mail, phidias or What’s on) to read the information.

Annual project

Each year, at the beginning of the school year, we send you the pedagogical bases of our annual project and we announce the chosen theme to guide us through three centres of interest, which correspond to the three terms of the year.

In addition, we will provide you with our protocol for the first month, dedicated mainly to emotional adaptation and school routines.

After September, we will begin our centres of interest, so that in the first week of October, you will receive the first project to work on with the children, with the intelligences to be developed, the thinking techniques and the planning and organisation of the project. After Christmas, you will receive the second and, after Easter, the third.
